What is Looped?
Looped helps you turn acquaintances into close friends by making recurring hangouts effortless. Create weekly dinners, run clubs, game nights, or any regular activity—and let us handle the coordination. It's like having that organized friend who actually makes plans happen, every single week.
Using the App
Sign-In: Looped uses phone number verification. We'll send you a one-time password (OTP) to sign in—simple and secure.
Creating Hangouts: Choose an activity (dinner party, coffee catch-up, etc.), set your schedule (weekly, biweekly, monthly), and invite friends. Looped handles reminders and coordination from there.
Joining Hangouts: Get invited by friends through single-use invite links or direct invitations. Once you're in, you'll get automatic reminders and can RSVP for each session.
Phone Number Privacy: By default, hangout members can see your phone number for direct coordination. You can disable this anytime in Settings if you prefer app-only communication.
Leaving Hangouts: You can leave any hangout at any time. Just tap "Can't go" when you're unavailable—no explanations needed.
Subscriptions and Payments
- The core Looped app is free for creating and joining hangouts
- Some hangouts may require payment (fitness classes, workshops, etc.)
- All payments are handled through Apple
- For billing issues, refunds, or payment questions, contact Apple Support directly
Age Requirement
You must be at least 16 years old to use Looped. If local laws require a higher age for app usage without parental consent, you must meet that requirement.
Connectivity
Looped requires an internet connection to coordinate hangouts, send notifications, and sync with other members. Cellular or Wi-Fi data charges may apply depending on your provider.
Safety & In-Person Meetups
Looped facilitates real-world gatherings. You are solely responsible for your safety when attending hangouts.
We recommend:
- Meeting in public places, especially for first-time meetups
- Informing someone you trust about your plans
- Using your best judgment about attending events
- Leaving any situation where you feel unsafe
Looped does not verify user identities or conduct background checks. Trust your instincts and prioritize your safety.
AI Features
Looped uses AI for coordination assistance—automated reminders, scheduling suggestions, and group communication help. Your input may be processed by third-party AI providers to generate responses.
AI outputs are for informational purposes only. Always use your own judgment when making plans or decisions.
Data & Privacy
What we store:
- Account information (phone number, profile)
- Hangout details and membership
- Messages and content shared within hangouts
- Usage data for app improvement
What we don't do:
- Sell your personal data
- Share your phone number with third parties for marketing
- Use your content beyond providing the service
Your control:
- Delete your account anytime through Settings
- Disable phone number visibility in Settings
- Content you shared may remain visible to hangout members after you leave

Reporting & Support
If you encounter concerning behavior, inappropriate content, or have issues with the app:
- Use the in-app report feature
- We reserve the right to remove content and suspend accounts that violate our Terms
- We cooperate with law enforcement when necessary

We love hearing from you. If you send us feedback or suggestions, you agree that we can use them to improve Looped—but your hangout content always stays yours.
